Buying Tickets for Angkor Wat
A visit to Siem Reap is not complete without seeing Angkor Wat - one of the Seven Wonders of the World. However, there are nearly 30 temples in the Angkor Archaeology Park including Ta Prohm (the set of Lara Croft – Tomb Raider staring Angelina Jolie) and Bayon temple with its magnificent faces of Buddha. Your one ticket covers all the temples and most are in close proximity to one another.
Entrance Fee for Angkor Wat
Depending on your needs there are 3 ticket types available - a 1-day pass costs $37, a 3-day pass (valid for a 7-day period) costs $62 and a 7-day pass (valid for a whole month) costs $72. With every ticket purchased, $2 is donated to Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital fund.
Where to Buy Angkor Wat Tickets?
All tickets must be purchased from the central ticketing office – which is about 4 km from town - your guide or tuk-tuk driver will know where to go.
You don't need your passport when purchasing a ticket. Each ticket is issued with your photo, which is taken at the time of purchase, so you do not need to bring your own.
The entrance ticket can be paid for in cash in US Dollars, Cambodian Riel, Thai Baht or Euros. Credit card payments can also be made using Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay, JCB and Diners Club International. There is also an ATM at the ticket office where you can withdraw cash.
Tickets must be bought before visiting the temples. Tickets purchased after 5pm will be valid for the following day.

Ticket Office Hours: Monday – Sunday, 5am to 5.30pm
Temple Visiting Hours: 5.30am – 5.30 pm (some temples open at 7am - check with your guide or tuk-tuk driver.
Sunrise & Sunset
Seeing sunrise and sunset over the temples is a magnificent site, so some of the temples have accommodating hours to suit. Angkor Wat and Srah Srang are open daily from 5am to 5.50pm while Bakheng and Pre Rup Temple are open daily from 5am to 7pm.
