Viroth’s Hotel

Opened in 2015, Viroth’s hotel is located on a leafy side street in the Wat Bo area of Siem reap, just a few moments from the center of town. The Hotel’s design is inspired by the modernist Khmer architecture of the post-colonial era of the 1950s and 1960s.

The 35 rooms and suites are tastefully and comfortably furnished with quirky and original design touches. Each room has a balcony overlooking either the garden or pool. Facilities include a 20 meter salt water swimming pool in the central courtyard, a small gym and a spa offering a range of treatments.

The casual airy restaurant serves up a highly recommended breakfast and there is a range of light and full meals available for lunch and dinner. The bar is located conveniently next to the pool, cocktails are on offer from $5.

Since the hotel opened in 2015, many previous guests have complimented the service here, the hotel is well run and the abundant staff are super friendly and attentive.

Viroth’s Hotel offers good value and is a very popular hotel, so popular it was recently named as the best hotel in the world by trip advisor. Early booking is recommended.
